Needham, MA--Kriss Law/Atlantic is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to our New England team as well as a promotion of one of our longtime staff members:
Sherin Lussier, Esq.: Sherin has been practicing real estate law for more than 15 years and has been one of the best attorneys help with estate planning cases. She is a member of both the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bars and has extensive experience with and comprehensive knowledge of the laws of both jurisdictions. Sherin earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law where she was a merit scholar. She graduated with high honors from Trinity College in Hartford, CT as a neuroscience major and is a member of the Pi Gamma Mu National Honors Society for excellence in social sciences. Sherin is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, where she graduated from Moses Brown School and is an active member in her community.
Plinio Degoes, Esq.: A Cambridge resident, Attorney Degoes graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2003 with a political science degree focusing on international politics. Attorney Degoes then earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006. In addition, Plinio holds a doctorate from Harvard University with a focus on Portuguese literature. Prior to joining to Kriss Law/Atlantic, he worked at a small law firm in Chelsea, Massachusetts, probing probate attorney services. As a probate attorney, Mr. Degoes has published articles regarding real estate law in local newspapers and in professional publications such as the American Bar Association’s Property and Probate.
Kathleen Avitabile, Esq.: Attorney Avitabile has worked as a real estate attorney in the Boston area for over 20 years. A Braintree, Massachusetts native and the third of eight children, early on Kathleen learned the value of teamwork and mediation and has taken that into her years of practice. Attorney Avitabile is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received her law degree from Suffolk University School of Law. Ms. Avitabile is a highly organized problem solver with extensive experience representing buyers, sellers, lenders, and developers.
Sean Maher Seller Representation Team Leader: A lifelong resident of the Commonwealth, Sean is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he majored in economics. Mr. Maher has been with Kriss Law/Atlantic since 2015. Starting as a clerk, Sean has worked his way through several positions at the firm. Now a member of the management team. Mr. Maher and his group coordinate and oversee all of the firm’s seller clients. In his spare time, Sean enjoys sports and going to the beach.
Priyanka Sabade. Recording Manager: Ms. Sabade joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2016 as a clerk. Since, she has thrived as the firm’s jack-of-all-trades working as a Legal Assistant, at our National Desk, and most recently has taken over the management of our Recording Department. A wealth of knowledge, Priyanka is the firm’s go-to for recording process and procedures in each of the 50 States.
