Scott D. Kriss Esq.

Attorney Kriss was born and raised in Rhode Island‚ conducted his undergraduate studies in Maine‚ and earned his law degree in Connecticut. The son of two small business owners‚ Attorney Kriss brings that same hardworking dedication to his practice. He has brought Kriss Law/Atlantic from a small local operation to one of the most recognized property conveyancing firms on the east coast. Operating under the credo that “no call ever goes unreturned‚” Attorney Kriss has served as a contributor to Mortgage Originator Magazine, been named one of the industry’s top 40 to watch, and has led Kriss Law/Atlantic to consecutive awards as Banker and Tradesman’s top regional closing firm.

Susan Makin

Susan has successfully led all Kriss Law/Atlantic operations for nearly two decades. With an unparalleled wealth of knowledge and unmatched attention to detail, our entire firm enjoys working with Susan on a daily basis. From hiring the most talented staff in the industry to jumping into files when she is needed, Susan is always available for Kriss Law/Atlantic employees and clients. A graduate of Saint Anselm College, in her free time Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and dog

Scott M. Taylor‚ Esq.

Raised in Newton‚ Massachusetts‚ Attorney Taylor joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2008 and became a partner in 2015. Attorney Taylor graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 2002 and Suffolk University School Of Law in 2006. Attorney Taylor focuses on general real estate and land title matters‚ including representing buyers and sellers in purchase and sale negotiations‚ as well as representing lenders in residential real estate closings.

David Cuttler‚ Esq.

Originally from Montreal‚ Canada‚ Attorney Cuttler received his degree in Social Sciences from Marianopolis College in 1996 then went on to obtain a BA in psychology from Concordia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000. Attorney Cuttler continued his studies at New England School of Law in Boston, focusing in the area of real estate law. He graduated with Dean’s List honors in 2005 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that same year. He served as counsel with Barbera & Shargel LLP in their real estate department prior to merging with Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2008. Attorney Cuttler serves as a senior attorney specializing in buyer and seller representation and real estate closings. David was named a partner of the firm in 2015.

Liana Arvay, Esq.

Liana Arvay is a Kriss Law/Atlantic partner practicing in all aspects of real estate conveyancing. She has represented buyers, sellers and lenders alike in hundreds of seamless transactions throughout her career and works diligently to ensure her customers are satisfied. A graduate of the New England School of Law, Liana is a New York City transplant who landed in Boston in 2008. She is licensed in both Massachusetts and New York and specializes in first time home buyers, examining and clearing titles, and landlord-tenant relations. In 2017, Liana was promoted to manager of the firm’s title curative department.

Peter DaMore, Esq.--licensed to practice in MA, NH, VT, & ME

Attorney DaMore has been practicing for over 20 years and prior to merging with Kriss Law/Atlantic, was the founder of DaMore Law in 1999. Peter has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate law as well as business law and estate planning.

Since 1999, Peter has been involved in over 20,000 real estate transactions and he has personally reviewed thousands of Purchase and Sale Agreements for both buyers and sellers. At Kriss Law/Atlantic, Peter leads the DaMore Group which focuses on real estate and estate planning matter.

Peter’s experience in all aspects of real estate law includes complex residential and commercial transactions, title resolution, condominium law & conversion, and all aspects of law related to the purchase and sale of real estate.

Peter is also a licensed Massachusetts real estate instructor and regularly provides continuing education classes to real estate agents and homebuyer seminars for buyers and sellers on many real estate related topics.

Outside of his business, Peter enjoys skiing, biking, and golf.

Amanda Florek, Esq.

Attorney Florek is a twenty-plus year veteran of the conveyancing industry. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts and the Suffolk University School of Law, Amanda has a tremendous client base comprised of some of the most prominent lenders and Realtors in New England. Attorney Florek is known for her great knowledge, superior attention to detail, and expertise in handling even the most complex closing issues.

Katie Frazier, Esq.--licensed to practice in MA & NH

Katie is an experienced attorney specializing in residential real estate. She brings a unique combination of legal expertise, practical industry knowledge, and a client-focused approach to every transaction.

Attorney Frazier earned her bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary and her J.D. from the New England School of Law.

Katie began her career practicing family law, with a focus on divorce and child custody matters. During this time, she served as both Vice President and President of the National Association of Women Lawyers and earned a certification in mediation. Her background in negotiation, problem-solving, and dispute resolution continues to inform her thoughtful and practical approach to the practice of law.

With a longstanding interest in real estate, Katie transitioned into real estate sales, spending nearly two years as a licensed real estate agent. This experience provided her with valuable firsthand insight into the real estate industry and the challenges faced by buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders. She subsequently returned her focus to the legal side of real estate, where she specializes in residential transactions.

At Kriss Law/Atlantic, in addition to servicing her well-established real estate clientele, Katie has extended her practice as a leader in managing and growing the firm’s strategic partnerships in New England.

Katie lives in Waltham, Massachusetts, with her husband, their son and daughter, and their black Lab rescue, Leroy.

Trudie Hale, Esq.--licensed to practice in MA & NY

Attorney Hale is a seasoned legal professional specializing in estate planning. Her career has been defined by a commitment to excellence, integrity, and meaningful service. With nearly four decades of experience, Trudie has built her practice on the belief that the true purpose of the law is to add value to the lives of those she serves while positively impacting the community both locally and globally. Licensed to practice in MA since 1986 and NY since 1987, Attorney Hale brings extensive knowledge, professionalism, and thoughtful counsel to every client relationship.

A graduate of New England Law, Attorney Hale leads the firm’s estate planning division.

Wendy Kamens, Esq.

With 25 years of experience, Attorney Kamens’ practice focuses on representing buyers, lenders and sellers in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, including condominium review, conversions, and complex title matters. Attorney Kamens spends a great deal of time educating first time homebuyers and new agents on the conveyancing process, speaking often at seminars and conferences.

Wendy is a University of Massachusetts and Suffolk University School of Law graduate and a proud member of the board of directors and land acquisition committee for Old Colony Habitat for Humanity.

Marcus Pino, Esq.

A native of Canada, Attorney  Pino has been involved in the real estate industry since coming to the U.S. In that time, he has represented a wide realm of clients across Massachusetts including buyers, sellers, lenders, and investors.

Known for delving deep into each transaction, Marcus’ goal is to help his clients feel confident and informed throughout every step of their real estate journey. From first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, Attorney Pino takes the time to explain options, answer questions, and ensure that every transaction is handled with care.

In addition to real estate,  Attorney Pino also handles many of the firm’s corporate matters.

In his spare time, Marcus enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching and playing sports, and traveling.

Pat Pino, Esq.

Attorney Pino is a Partner and manages Kriss Law/Atlantic’s Pino Group.

Pat is an accomplished practitioner with extensive experience representing individuals, investors, developers, and businesses in a wide range of property-related closing matters. Known for his practical insight, superior communication, and excellent customer service, he delivers clear guidance through every stage of a transaction.

Prior to merging with Kriss Law/Atlantic, Attorney Pino was the principal of Pino Law Offices, PC., a well known and respected conveyancing firm.

Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Pat is also a proud member of the Massachusetts State Bar Association. Away from the office, Attorney Pino enjoys spending time with his family, hitting the links, playing pickup hockey, and skiing in the winter months. He also is an avid Boston sports fan and enjoys traveling.

Aviv Shamash, Esq.

Attorney Shamash focuses on residential real estate matters. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Attorney Shamash earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then attended Suffolk University Law School where he graduated, Summa Cum Laude, in 2012. Aviv interned at Kriss Law/Atlantic during his law school tenure and joined the firm permanently shortly thereafter.

Nicole Torres, Esq.

Attorney Torres specializes in real estate matters representing buyers, sellers, and lenders.

After graduating from Babson College in 2012, Nicole attended Suffolk University Law School. Prior to joining Kriss Law/Atlantic, Nicole served as a partner at another firm in Massachusetts. She believes in a client-first approach and prides herself on her availability for her clients.

Chris Morton, Esq.

Attorney Morton has been with the Kriss Law/Atlantic since May of 2005. Born and raised in Westbrook‚ Maine, he is a 1994 graduate of the New England School of Law. Attorney Morton is senior title counsel at Kriss Law/Atlantic, and specializes in the representation of mortgage lenders‚ buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions and financing.

Zakkiyyah T. White, Esq.

Attorney White, a proud native of Youngstown, Ohio and the leader of our Florida operations, has over 20 years of experience across the legal, real estate, and financial services industries. She is known for her strategic vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and operational efficiency in highly regulated environments. Attorney White’s ability to implement data-driven solutions to improve organizational performance has been key to her leadership success.

Attorney White earned a BA from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and a JD and MBA in Florida. She later obtained an LLM in Business Transactions from the University of Alabama.

David Parker, Esq.

Attorney Parker is a well-respected attorney in Montgomery County, MD. He has been practicing in the area of real estate law since 1985.  David was the founding President of Village Settlements, Inc., which following its acquisition by Atlantic Closing & Escrow, has offices in Gaithersburg, Greenbelt and Frederick, MD.

In addition to residential real estate settlements, David specializes in completing complex commercial transactions. Attorney Parker is highly visible in the industry as an author and lecturer on real estate related issues.  As an educator, he leads continuing education courses for real estate agents and brokers. His columns have appeared regularly in local newspapers, magazines and newsletters. He also co-authored the book “Real Estate Practice in DC, Maryland and Virginia.”

David received his J.D. from the William and Mary School of Law, where he was the winner of the William and Mary Negotiating Competition and runner-up at the United States Eastern Regional Negotiating Competition.  He also won the prestigious American Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts and Criminal Law.

Attorney Parker received his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, with distinction in political science from James Madison University. His professional affiliations include the Maryland State, Montgomery County and the American Bar Associations.

Mark Simon, Esq.

Attorney Simon joined Village Settlements after serving the real estate community for ten years as a real estate agent and office sales manager.  He is based in the Gaithersburg office. As an experienced contract drafter and negotiator, Attorney Simon is available to assist agents and clients with contract drafting and review, complex commercial real estate settlements, and other real estate matters. His experience as an arbitrator on the Professional Standards Committee of the Montgomery County Association of Realtors is invaluable in assisting agents with issues related to procuring cause and interpretation of the rules of ethics.

Mark received his B.A. from Denison University, earned his J.D. from The University of Baltimore, Cum Laude, and won the prestigious American Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts and Real Property Law.

In addition to being admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland, Attorney Simon is also a licensed real estate broker and a member of the National, Maryland, and Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Maryland State and Montgomery County Bar Associations.

Craig Hutchison

Mr. Hutchison is a seasoned finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting and business leadership. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Craig earned his B.A. in accounting from Northeastern University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

He further advanced his expertise with an MBA from the University of Southern California. With a passion for strategic financial management, Craig has built a career focused on driving business growth and operational excellence–two items he excels at here at Kriss Law/Atlantic.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and skiing.

Alyssa Kingston

An SHRM certified HR professional, Ms. Kingston leads Kriss Law/Atlantic’s human resources department.

Alyssa is know for her commitment to fostering a strong, people-focused workplace. She supports employees and leadership by driving effective processes and promoting a positive company culture.

A Chelmsford, MA native, outside of the office, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family.

Danielle Hill

Danielle grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Shippensburg University in 2006. She relocated to Massachusetts in 2008 to attend Suffolk University, where she graduated in 2009 with a second bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. Danielle joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2009 and took over both our Funding and Disbursement Departments shortly thereafter. Through a keen attention to detail and an eye for efficiency, Danielle has streamlined many of our processes to create checkpoints for quality control while maintaining our focus on providing excellent customer service throughout the entire transaction. Currently, Ms. Hill and her team ensure that all of the firm’s operations, financial and otherwise, are 100% compliant.

Monica Yancey

Monica grew up in Wellesley, MA and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Now residing in Boston with her family, Ms. Yancey has over 15 years of residential real estate paralegal experience. Monica initially joined Kriss Law /Atlantic in 2004 and after a brief hiatus made a return. She provides daily management, support, and overflow coverage to the paralegal team.

Marlo O’Connor

A Maine native, Marlo O’Connor has spent the better part of a decade as one of the leaders of the Kriss Law/Atlantic closing department. Always known for her ability to handle great volume and multi-task, Ms. O’Connor works with our entire closing team to make sure all files are completed in a timely and organized fashion. Marlo resides in Waltham with her husband and two daughters and enjoys coaching youth soccer.

Caitlin Jacob

Originally from Massachusetts, Caitlin has been in the real estate industry since 2003, beginning her career as a paralegal before moving into leadership roles focused on training, team development, and operational efficiency. She joined the firm in 2011 and in addition to leading her own production team, now serves as Director of Training & Development as well. In the enhanced role, Caitlin designs and leads programs that help teams grow, perform, and deliver exceptional service.  Now residing in Florida, Caitlin spends her free time with her two kids and dogs.

Jennyfer James

With over 20 years of real estate law experience, Jennyfer leads her team here at Kriss Law/Atlantic using her wealth of knowledge, operational structure, and coolness under pressure. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, she credits her military service with shaping her strong sense of discipline, accountability, and teamwork — qualities that guide her in managing and supporting her team.

Jennyfer is recognized for her reliability, organization, and dedication to providing clients with a seamless and professional experience from start to finish. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her 12-year-old daughter, who inspires her daily and reminds her to find balance and joy beyond the workday.

Jenn Currie

A Burlington native, Jenn has worked in the real estate industry for nearly four decades. Beginning her career as a paralegal before moving into a leadership role, Jenn focuses her day-to-day tasks on team development and ensuring all parts of the process run smoothly and efficiently.

When she’s off the clock, Jenn is busy spoiling her 8-month-old granddaughter, watching her beloved Celtics, and spending as much time near the ocean as possible.

Brian Carroll

Brian grew up in Canton, MA and joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2014. Mr. Carroll is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Brian’s primary role at Kriss Law/Atlantic is the management of over 20 legal assistants. He makes sure their title production and file management are up to his high standards. Prior to joining Kriss Law/Atlantic, Mr. Carroll was a title examiner.

Bells Parlato

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Bells graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 with a degree in English and minors in both Biology and Natural Resources Conservation. She ventured into various types of law before settling on real estate when joining Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2019. Best known around the office for her tenacity and strict attention to detail, she works daily to insure all transactions make it to closing without a hitch. Outside of work, Bells enjoys cooking, Cape weekends and occasionally playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Nicole Noone

Nicole is a Braintree, MA native and continues to reside in the Boston suburb today. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Ms. Noone is a veteran of the Kriss Law/Atlantic Post Closing Department and earned a promotion to her current position in 2018. Known in the office for her strict attention to detail, she and her team work tirelessly to keep Kriss Law/Atlantic clients happy following the conclusion of a closing transaction. Responsible for everything from post closing to recording, Nicole is an animal lover who enjoys hiking with her dog and horseback riding.

Zach Polizzi

Zach is a Boston native and lifelong resident . He joined the Kriss Law/Atlantic team in 2017 and his keen attention to detail and passion for serving our clients has made him an invaluable part of the firm . In his current role, Mr. Polizzi keeps track of the funds for all transactions and makes sure every disbursement is sent correctly and in a timely manner. Before his time at Kriss Law/Atlantic, Zach was a sailing instructor, a passion he still pursues in his spare time. He also enjoys golfing, gaming, and playing a variety of musical instruments.

Jim Gowetski

Jim joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2018 after graduating from the University of Vermont. A Needham, MA native, Jim and his team work hard to insure that all closing packages and signed documents are returned to the appropriate parties in a timely and accurate manner. Outside of the office, Mr. Gowetski enjoys sports and nature.

Elisavet "Liz" Pesirides, Esq.

Attorney Pesirides is a graduate of Suffolk University and the Massachusetts School of Law. Aside from traditional attorney functions, Liz also acts as our most senior New England client liaison.

Rahul Aggarwal, Esq.

Raised in Burlington, Massachusetts, Attorney Aggarwal earned his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his juris doctor from the Suffolk University School of Law. After working for a prominent local lender, Rahul honed his conveyancing skills at smaller law firms before joining Kriss Law/Atlantic. Here at Kriss Law/Atlantic, Attorney Aggarwal focuses his efforts on providing the best service possible to his buyer, seller, and lender clients.

Alicia Badolato, Esq.

Attorney Badolato has extensive practice experience with a strong background concentration in residential real estate law. Alicia represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in a wide range of transactions. She is known for offering practical guidance and dedicated support throughout the closing process. Alicia is passionate about building strong professional relationships and enjoys networking with others in the real estate industry.

Matthew Byrnes, Esq.

Attorney Byrnes is a resident of Newbury, Massachusetts and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Northeastern University School of Law.

With nearly two decades of experience, Matthew is a true real estate expert having handled thousands of real estate closings. In addition to conveyancing, he specializes in title examination and title resolution, commercial and residential leases, real estate related litigation, corporate (asset purchases, stock purchases, shareholder agreements, commercial real estate purchases and sales, entity formation, and contract review), estate planning, and estate administration.

Matthew takes a personal investment in his clients to guide them through situations that may be unfamiliar or unnerving.

Any free time Matthew has is dedicated to his two young daughters, and French bulldog Maggie.

Amy Cain, Esq.

Attorney Cain holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and a law degree from the New England Law School of Law.

Amy is known for having a wealth of knowledge when it comes to navigating her clients through residential real estate transactions. She has represented buyers, sellers and lenders as a part of thousands of closings.  She has extensive knowledge drafting purchase and sale agreements, reviewing title exams, and curing title defects.

Attorney Cain also educates Realtors as a licensed Massachusetts real estate instructor.

In her free time, Amy enjoys skiing, running 5Ks very slowly, and exploring New England with her husband and son.

Bryan Catalano, Esq.

A versatile real estate attorney with deep transactional experience, Attorney Catalano works with clients at each step of the process. He has overseen transactions involving all types of entities, from complex buyer and seller limited liability companies and corporations to trusts and estates, and is sensitive to the many nuances that arise from the intersection of business and real estate law.

Bryan works out of our Washington, D.C. office and has extensive experience navigating entity governance documentation, drafting all forms of settlement documents, utilizing powers of attorney and delegations of authority, and managing overseas closings. He is also well versed in transactions involving federal and state tax withholdings, including the Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act. As a settlement attorney, Bryan has personally managed residential closings in excess of $500 million annually. In addition, Bryan is licensed as an associate real estate broker and has handled numerous transactions for both buyers and sellers, positioning him to uniquely understand the many complexities of each closing from all perspectives.

Christopher DeLisi, Esq.

Attorney DeLisi  manages the company’s Frederick, MD office. He received his B.A. from St. Mary’s College of MD where he played basketball and is one of the school’s  all-time leading scorers. In addition, Christopher is a Cum Laude graduate of Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law.

Attorney DeLisi concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law and contracts. He has served on the Board of Directors and legal counsel to the Gaithersburg/Germantown Chamber of Commerce and has been named to the Board of Directors of Housing Charities, Inc. He is a member of the American Bar Association.

Larissa Demirs, Esq.

Attorney Demirs graduated Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2003 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar the same year. Originally from Russia and fluent in the  language, she received her BA and Master’s Degrees with high honors from Ryazan State Pedagogical University. Larissa brings her extensive real estate background to the firm, after spending almost a decade representing buyers and sellers as a broker with a prominent international real estate brokerage.

Daniel Ewald, Esq.

Attorney Ewald is a graduate of the University of Vermont and the Vermont Law School and started his own law practice in Killington in 1981.

A staple in the Vermont real estate law community for over four decades, Dan is well known for his superior knowledge of  all aspects of real estate conveyancing, land use, and comprehensive title abstracting.

Cory Fox, Esq.

Attorney Fox has been practicing law since 2009, with a particular focus on residential real estate transactions. Prior to joining Kriss Law/Atlantic, Cory worked as an attorney with the law firm of Rollins, Rollins and Fox in Newton, MA. Originally from Westwood, MA, attorney Fox is a graduate of Westfield State University and the New England School of Law.

Frank Goldenberg, Esq.

Attorney Goldenberg concentrates his practice on handling settlements in MD and the District of Columbia. A wealth of knowledge, he also assists with contract preparation and review, deeds, title issues. and other real estate related matters.

Frank graduated with high honors from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and earned his JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Frank resides in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife Barbara. They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Frank is an avid skier, golfer, and Maryland Terps supporter.

David Hahn, Esq.

Attorney Hahn manages the company’s Greenbelt, MD office. He has extensive experience in all aspects of residential real estate transactions from contract drafting and negotiation to settlement, as well as landlord/tenant law, foreclosure, business law, bankruptcy, and Will drafting.

Mr. Hahn received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore. Prior to attending law school, David worked for an engineering company building heat exchange equipment for space flight on board rockets, satellites and the space shuttle.

Mr. Hahn is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and is a member of the American and Maryland State Bar Associations.

He resides in Olney, MD with his wife and daughter and is an active member of the Lions Club.

Ben Hollander, Esq.

Attorney Hollander is a graduate of George Washington University and Quinnipiac University School of Law.  He has been in private practice since 1999 in Connecticut specializing in transactional matters including representation of buyers, sellers, and lenders. Attorney Hollander’s practice has also included his appointment as a Special Public Defender.

Michael Hollman, Esq.

Attorney Hollman has been practicing  in the areas of real estate and bankruptcy since 1986. He specializes in the resolution of any settlement related issues that arise in these highly technical areas of law. In addition, Michael handles complex real estate transactions, including bankruptcy, and foreclosure and short sale issues that intersect with real estate settlement.

Active in the community, Attorney Hollman speaks at seminars and educational programs for many area organizations.

Attorney Hollman received his J.D. from Capital University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. His professional affiliations include the American and Maryland Trial Lawyers Associations, the Maryland Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the American Mortgage Bankers Association, and the U.S. District Court Bankruptcy Bar.

Shawn Jarecki, Esq.

In addition to his current real estate practice, Attorney Jarecki has previously specialized in environmental and civil litigation matters. Raised in Pittsfield, VT, he earned his B.A. in philosophy from Marist College and his J.D. and Masters in environmental Law and policy from the Vermont School of Law.

At Green Mountain Lawyers, Shawn works with clients on real estate transactions, land use issues, and property-related legal concerns. He is known for combining practical problem-solving with a strong understanding of Vermont’s regulatory and environmental landscape. Licensed to practice in Vermont and New York, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, Shawn has represented individuals, businesses, and property owners across the state.

Away from the office, Shawn maintains an active commitment to environmental and outdoor organizations throughout Vermont including the Sugarbush Ski Patrol.

Rosie Kirkby, Esq.

Attorney Kirkby was born and raised in Massachusetts, growing up in Berkshire County before heading to Philadelphia to earn her B.A.  in business from Drexel University. She later returned to the Bay State to pursue her legal education in Boston, earning her J.D. and LL.M. in taxation.

Rosie focuses her practice on representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in both the Berkshires and Boston, in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate conveyancing. With several years of experience in real estate law, she takes pride in providing thoughtful, responsive, and personalized service to her clients throughout every stage of the transaction.

Joe Lawson, Esq.

Attorney Lawson has over 15 years of residential and commercial property management experience. A veteran of many zoning matters, complex title disputes, and thousands of closings, Joe works with many of our Rhode Island clients to provide Kriss Law/Atlantic’s legendary service and pricing.

Jonathan Levy, Esq.

Born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, Attorney Levy received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the UB Law Forum.

Mr. Levy began his career in private practice where he built his legal foundation and reputation representing builders, lenders, businesses and individuals in many areas of real estate, corporate and business law. He later joined a respected title group where he became Partner. Attorney Levy has established an extensive real estate transactional practice over the years, assisting with all types and aspects of real estate deals, from contract, title underwriting and resolution, through settlement. Jon teaches continuing education classes to agents and brokers, and frequently speaks to groups of agents on relevant real estate topicality.

Jon is licensed member of both the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, and additionally is licensed to conduct closings and issue title insurance in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Mr. Levy resides in Rockville, Maryland with his wife and children.

Jordan Miliotes, Esq.

Attorney Miliotes grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate studies before heading to the Pacific Northwest to earn her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. Jordan now calls New England home.

Jordan’s practice focuses on estate planning. Her interest in this area began prior to law school when she spent three years working in the field assisting in a planning firm. She enjoys the personal and relationship-driven nature of the practice and the opportunity to help individuals and families protect what they have built, plan for the future, and create plans tailored to their unique goals and circumstances.

Outside of the office, Jordan is an avid sports fan with a particular passion for hockey. Her love of the sport led to the opportunity to work within the NHL during law school. When she isn’t watching a game, she enjoys exploring New England, traveling, and spending as much time as possible by the water.

Hannah Phairas, Esq.

Attorney Phairas focuses her practice on representing buyers, sellers, and lenders through every stage of the conveyancing process. A South Carolina native, Hannah earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University before completing her J.D. at the Massachusetts School of Law. She is licensed to practice in MA, CT, and NH, allowing her to support clients across New England. Hannah now resides in Central Massachusetts with her family.

Kenneth Russo, Esq.

Raised in Cranston, Rhode Island‚ Attorney Russo pursued his undergraduate studies in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, graduating from McGill University with a B.A. in Humanistic Studies (History and Foreign Languages). He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1990. He has concentrated his legal work in residential and commercial real estate transactions since 2003, including representation of buyers, sellers and lenders, and has extensive experience in conducting closings. He has been admitted to practice in Florida, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and also holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in Massachusetts. Attorney Russo joins Kriss Law/Atlantic to combine his enthusiasm for real estate with his skills in forging new business relationships within the real estate and lending communities in order to further the company’s growth in the Florida marketplace.

Kaitlyn Sheehan, Esq.

A New England native, Attorney Sheehan completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University and graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law. Licensed to practice in Massachusetts, she has conducted real estate closings for 10 years, specializing in buyer and seller representation and title clearing.

At Kriss Law/Atlantic, Kaitlyn works out of the firm’s West Springfield, MA office and services our clientele in the western portion of the Commonwealth.

Jill Taintor, Esq., LLM

Attorney Taintor specializes in estate planning and residential real estate conveyancing. Jill graduated with high honors from Providence College and later received her J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law (JD). In addition she earned her advanced  “Master of Laws (LLM)” from Western New England University in the field of estate planning and elder law.

Jill enjoys educating her clients on ways to protect their assets and plan for the future, whether they are young families starting out or elderly clients looking for guidance on long-term care planning. She also enjoys the excitement of closing on new homes and strives to ensure that all of her clients have a positive, stress-free experience.

Jill is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.

In her spare time, Jill enjoys hiking and spending time in the New Hampshire Lakes Region with her husband, Geoff, and her dog, Kona.

Jill is a Burlington, MA resident.

Kristen Wilson, Esq.

Attorney Wilson was born and raised in Newburyport, Massachusetts. She earned her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Law from Suffolk University. She continued her studies and earned her J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law. Prior to joining Kriss Law/Atlantic, Attorney Wilson worked at a real estate and bankruptcy firm in Beverly, Massachusetts. Attorney Wilson focuses her practice on representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in Massachusetts.

Leslie Childs

Ms. Childs oversees marketing for all three of the company’s Maryland offices. Leslie is a longtime veteran of  the real estate settlement industry having worked on virtually all aspects of the process. Ms. Childs is responsible for the company’s Maryland client outreach and management.

An active member of GCAAR and the Women’s Council of Realtors, Leslie is also active in the coordination of continuing education programs and classes for real estate license renewal. Ms. Childs was 2011 affiliate of the year of the Greater Capital Area Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Leslie attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, and is the mother of three beautiful daughters.

Chris Gagney

With a B.A. in business from the University of Vermont and 13 years of title industry experience, Chris’ calling card is the innovative and unadulterated support that he provides to his business partners across the country.

A lifelong Wayland, MA resident, Mr. Gagney possesses unmatched knowledge of the closing process nuances for every jurisdiction. Chris prides himself on providing fast and accurate solutions to any situation presented and is available around the clock to his clients and industry partners.

Away from work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Nicole Dupuis

Nicole is a longtime Burlington, MA resident and lead’s the marketing efforts of the firm’s DaMore Group.

Deeply involved in her community, she is a volunteer organizer for the Burlington Womenade, has given her time to the Burlington Food Pantry, served as the V.P of Fundraising for Burlington Pop Warner, and serves on the Burlington 4th of July Celebration Committee.

Ms. Dupuis has been a military spouse to Retired United State Army Sergeant First Class Stephen Dupuis for 19 years and has  participated in family readiness groups which help young spouses and families through deployments.

Nicole was awarded the Army Public Service Commendation Medal for achievements that significantly contributed to the mission of the United States Army.

Outside of work and her other community activities, Ms. Dupuis enjoys nothing more than spending time with her son and daughter.

Kelly Kasparian

Born and raised in Massachusetts and a current resident of Burlington, Kelly joined Kriss Law/Atlantic in 2018.  With over 25 years of experience in the residential mortgage/title industry, she is well known by her clients as going the extra mile to get deals to the finish line.

Away from the office, Kelly enjoys playing golf, tennis and spending time with her husband, daughters and her Frenchie, Craig.

Jack Kearney

Jack is a lifelong resident of Howard County, Maryland, and a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he earned a B.S. in marketing. Jack is skilled in relationship building, business development, communication, marketing, data analysis, and digital outreach.

In his role with Atlantic’s Village Settlements division, Jack works with lenders, real estate professionals, builders, and industry partners throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He is focused on building strong relationships and helping provide a smooth, positive experience for clients and partners.

Outside of the office, Jack enjoys following Baltimore sports, especially the Ravens and Orioles. He also enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family.

Rachel Korb

A Virginia native, Rachel brings over two decades of real estate experience to her work as an advocate to her clients. Ms. Korb’s roles in the industry have ranged from Realtor, to title title processor, to licensed originator.

Rachel leans on her extensive background when working with our Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. clientele.

Away from work, Rachel enjoys MMA, spending time with her two sons, and supporting our veterans.

Geoff Rabideau

Mr. Rabideau is a 20+ year real estate industry veteran. As KL/Atlantic’s Florida Director of Sales, Geoff offers a unique perspective shaped by years of working directly inside real estate transactions from both the legal and sales sides of the business.

A graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Geoff understands the closing process from a perspective that goes far beyond traditional sales. He understands the legal issues, the pressure points in a transaction, the expectations of agents, lenders, and clients, and the importance of clear communication when a deal becomes complicated.

That experience now shapes his approach to sales. Rather than simply building business, Geoff focuses on becoming a resource to the professionals he works with. His goal is to understand how his partners operate, anticipate problems before they arise, and help create a smoother experience for everyone involved in the transaction.

Outside of work, Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, strength training, and exploring Florida. He speaks English and French and is currently learning Spanish.

Kelly Sullivan

Suzanne Thelen

Suzanne brings extensive experience in mortgage operations, real estate closings, and marketing to the Kriss Law/Atlantic team. She has a strong understanding of the real estate transaction process, from preapproval through closing and funding. Suzanne is dedicated to building lasting relationships with mortgage professionals and real estate agents as well as providing personalized service to help ensure a smooth closing experience for her business partners.

Suzanne is also passionate about supporting women through the divorce process, particularly when navigating housing options and decisions. Through her group, Divorce Squad®, she connects women to professionals who can provide guidance and support during the life-changing transition.

When  not working, she can be found on the sidelines cheering on her three children.

David Tiberio

David is a seasoned business development professional with over 30 years of experience in financial services and mortgage banking. Mr.Tiberio’s career includes tenures in finance and mortgage/default servicing at Bank of America, where he also managed the bank’s residential REO portfolio through outsourced vendor relationships.

Since 2007, he has held national sales roles for several mortgage services providers (First American, Avenue 365, LenderLive/Covius) that were primarily focused on title and related product offerings on the default side of the business. Prior to joining Kriss Law/Atlantic, David’s most recent business development role was with Mission Global, a provider of trading and capital markets support services. At Mission Global, target client segments included NQM and private lenders/aggregators, servicers, and distressed funds.

Based in Western New York, David’s interests outside of work include basketball, tennis, pickleball, and spending time with his family. Tiberio is a professional musician as well, and enjoys playing in several bands around the Rochester area.

Sharon Zickendrath

Ms. Zickendrath is a 20-plus year real estate industry veteran. Beginning her career as a processor for a national wholesale lender, she quickly rose the ranks to the position of mortgage sales representative. With this experience in tow, Sharon then transitioned to the title side of the business where she worked for a national provider for more than a decade. Known for her great knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work as a team and how to generate business while maintaining loyal relationships, Sharon travels throughout the country visiting and supporting Kriss Law/Atlantic clientele.

Sharon served as the first female President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals-Providence Chapter, co-chair of the Young Mortgage Professionals, is an active committee member of the Association of Women in Mortgage Banking, and proudly serves as membership director for The Women’s Real Estate Council of Rhode Island. In addition, Ms. Zickendrath is a Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association board member.

Originally from New York and raised in California, Sharon resides in Rhode Island with her husband and daughter and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
