Newton, MA--After two weather-related reschedules, Kriss Law/Atlantic's large spring Realtor Continuing Education event broke yet another attendance record on Friday.
The day's events kicked off promptly at 10:00 am with the attendees settling in to hear Kriss Law/Atlantic President and CEO Scott Kriss' opening remarks and welcome. In addition to thanking the day's many sponsors and participants, Attorney Kriss also complimented the attendee Realtors for making a $10 donation to the event's charitable beneficiary, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A cause near and dear to the Kriss Law/Atlantic family, the firm is thrilled to donate to this fantastic cause.

From there, Attorney Mike Krone began the morning session on "Appraisals." Joining Attorney Krone on stage for this discussion were Mark Silverberg, President, Beacon Appraisal Services, Craig Barber, Sales Manager, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, and Patrick Boyaggi, Co-Founder/CEO, Rate Gravity. The panel teamed with Krone to provide detailed insight into the current state of appraisals and their effects on a Realtor's transactions.
Upon the completion of the morning session, lunch was served and the agents were able to mingle with each other and the many present sponsors and participants.
The afternoon portion of the program consisted of a detailed review of "Closing & Settlement." John Doyle, Regional Sales Manager, Santander Bank, and Kriss Law/Atlantic's Attorney Liana Arvay, joined Attorney Krone for this session. Krone and the expert panel teamed to provide a lively and anecdotal presentation focusing on an area that holds many possible hidden liabilities for agents.
